DISNEYLAND!
The absolute happiest place on earth and one of my all time favorite places to be! It's no secret that my family is obsessed with all things Disney. Ever since my first time going to Disneyland at age 6, I've thought it was one of the most magical places. The parades, fireworks, characters, story telling rides, and even the charming workers make it such a fun place to be.
Growing up, we went to Disneyland quite often. We kids would opt out of Christmas presents from our parents so that we could instead take a trip to Disneyland. Those are some of THE best memories of my childhood. Well, this year my parents once again surprised us kids with tickets to Disneyland for Christmas! My mom has been saving up for several months by donating plasma so that she could pay for us all to go as a family. What a wonderful gift!
I am excited to share Disneyland with Emma even though I know she is way too young to actually remember this trip. Babies get in to Disneyland for free so, why not?? Even more exciting for me is that it's Sam's first time to Disneyland too! Okay, he did go to Disney World when he was like 6 or 7 but he doesn't remember a thing and I think Disneyland is better! (I admit, I've never been to Disney World but, I am sentimental about the original Disneyland.)
I am so excited to be able to share one of my favorite places with my two favorite people who are both "first timers" and to get to spend some time with my parents and siblings.
We aren't going until December but, I have already started planning out our days! Sam teases me about how often I bring it up and how excited I am. (He'll understand once we get there!!) The countdown has begun and I am hoping the days fly by until we get there!
Oh...and P.S. This will add two new states to this little girls resume! That'll make 6. Not bad for a 7 month old, eh?
It's going to be a very merry Christmas for us! Bring on the holiday season!
